Learn how to apply various Machine Learning techniques for everyday business problems
What will you learn?
During this one-day workshop, you will have an exposure to Machine Learning using Python to analyze, draw intelligence and build powerful models using real-world datasets. You’ll also gain the insights to apply data processing and Machine Learning techniques in real time. More importantly, you will have a better understanding of how to improve solutions so that they become more optimal.
After completing this workshop, you will be able to build and optimize your own automated classifier to extract insights from real-world data sets.

Workshop Plan
11:30 am to 1:30 pm - Overview of Machine Learning
2:30pm to 4:30 pm - Hands On
As part of the hands-on, you will learn to recognise the digits from images (OCR). As part of this exercise, we will build a classifier using scikit-learn with MNIST dataset.
This session would broadly cover the following:
- Manipulation and plotting data
- Preprocessing and exploring data
- Training a binary classifier
- Measuring Performance
- Learning Multi-class classification
Prerequisites

Do I need any programming experience to attend?
You don’t need to have prior experience in Python as the workshop provides a general outline of the language. However, it will be useful if you have an exposure to another programming language.
What will I be doing?
In this workshop, you will deploy, evaluate and optimize your own automated classifier using Python for a real-world dataset. When you will complete this workshop, you will familiarize yourself with several classification algorithms.
Is it for me?
The workshop is intended for university students and professionals. Further, everyone, who is interested in knowing about Machine Learning can attend the camp.
What is the experience like?
The workshops offer first-hand experience on Machine Learning using Python. After the introductory session, you will already be coding! Our instructors are always there to help you out in case you get stuck.
